Inspection of the boiler and heating system to identify the fault, repair or replacement of faulty components such as thermostats, pumps, valves or heat exchangers, testing and recommissioning.

When you need it. The boiler won't ignite, loses pressure, makes loud noises, leaks water, or the heating won't turn on or regulate temperature.

Before you get in touch. Note the boiler model and age if known. Check if the pilot light is lit. Look for any visible water or error codes displayed.

Location of the leak source by visual inspection or pressure testing, isolation of the affected pipework, temporary or permanent repair of the damaged section, water system flushing and pressure testing.

When you need it. Water is actively dripping or spraying from pipes, joints, radiators or under floors; water appears in ceilings or walls; or puddles form without obvious cause.

Before you get in touch. Switch off the water at the stopcock if the leak is severe. Place towels to contain water. Note exactly where the leak is and when it started.

Diagnosis of the blockage location and cause using inspection cameras or rodding, removal of the obstruction by plumbing auger, jet washing or excavation if needed, flushing the drain clear and testing flow.

When you need it. Water drains slowly from sinks, baths or toilets; sewage backs up; gurgling sounds come from drains; or foul smells rise from waste pipes.

Before you get in touch. Identify which appliance is affected. Stop using blocked drains to prevent overflow. Note if blockage is inside or outside the property.

Design and installation of new heating systems, boiler connection, pipework routing through walls and floors, radiator placement and balancing, system testing, pressure setting and user instruction.

When you need it. Upgrading an old heating system, installing heating in a newly built extension, replacing a failed boiler and pipework, or improving heating efficiency and control.

Before you get in touch. Know the property size and how many radiators or heat zones are needed. Check if gas connection exists. Decide on boiler type and control preferences.

Removal of old suite and pipework, wall and floor preparation, installation of new basin, toilet and bath or shower, waste pipe routing, water supply connection, sealing and finishing with silicone or grout.

When you need it. Planning a bathroom upgrade or renovation, replacing old or broken sanitaryware, fitting a new shower, or installing pipework for a new bathroom.

Before you get in touch. Have a design or layout sketch ready. Measure the space. Know existing water and waste positions. Decide on suite style and materials.

Repair or replacement of leaking taps and valves, joint sealing, pipe section replacement, fitting of new water-using appliances, isolating valves, and connection of washing machines or dishwashers.

When you need it. A tap drips constantly, a joint weeps, water supply is low, a fitting is loose or corroded, or new appliances need connecting to water and waste.

Before you get in touch. Turn off the water if replacing taps or doing major work. Know the size of any new fittings or appliances. Check if the water is from mains or tank.
